Given the nationwide concerns of a looming health crisis, the Isles staff would like to like to convey the following information:
First, at this time we are still planning on holding our LARP weekend in April. If this changes, we will certainly let folks know. We are monitoring the situation and understand that things could change in the future, but for now we are still running the event.
To that end, please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to attend, or, more importantly, are planning on not attending. This helps us prepare ahead of time, and as people make their own decisions on attending events, please keep us informed. You don't have to pay until you are at the door, but a quick email to firstname.lastname@example.org will help us tremendously. (This satisfies your requirement for pre-registration as well.) You will not be penalized if you change your mind - we just need some rough counts for now.
If you are feeling ill for any reason, please take care of yourself and do not attend the event. Our staff is more than willing to accommodate for any financial or story-based concerns regarding missing a weekend, but for your own safety and that of the rest of the organization, we would prefer that you do not attend if you aren't feeling well.
Please let us know if you have any additional concerns or suggestions regarding this situation, and we will be happy to address them as they come up. Our topmost priority is the safety of our members, and will continue to be the driving force behind our administrative decisions. We will do everything to keep you up to date as this continues.
Rourkie, General Manager of the Isles LARP, on behalf of all the Isles staff.
